We went through a few other payroll services before switching to Alcott and the full HR experience. What a difference it made in being able to get helpful people on the phone when you need them. Also, we were administering our own 401K and it was a huge hassle, so much easier with Alcott.

Not very helpfull when trying to change direct deposit ! Was told to send it in an email and the lady hung up the phone without giving me an email address. Every time i have had to deal with them i end up doing alot of the work they should be helping me with ! Made several attempts to find out about my insurance coverage and not getting anywhere ! Just not happy with the treatment of this human receorse department at all !

When you have an issue, your personal consultant will help you work through the problem, not some faceless name. Each person on your team is dedicated to take the worry off of your already busy plate. You maintain control, they coach. I just retired from Axcet after being part of the team for almost 13 years. This is the worst company I have dealt with in a very long time. They were very quick to act and get us signed up and start payroll. Once they had us, things fell apart very quickly. They have no communication, no follow-through and are very inaccurate with their payroll. One of the first payroll files we sent to them, they calculated minutes worked as hours worked. We have been waiting over a month to get our Quickbooks import file from them. The bottom line is, save yourself the headache and stay away from this company.

I don't actually have any affiliation or connection to this company at all. I wanted to write this review because they helped me in a situation with a recent restaurant closure that they did business with. I had a gift card with the restaurant that had a substantial balance on it. They fought for me and worked with the owner of the closed restaurant to get that gift card transferred to a usable gift card and they didn't have to do that at all. I wanted to thank this company for fighting for me and doing the right thing. This is an honest company and if I were a business owner in need of their services, I would definitely hire them!
