Agency Partner built us a pretty website... but it was slow and not technically optimized for SEO. The backend was very buggy, with many "useless" sections in the WordPress dashboard. I am a WordPress developer, but I am also the company's marketing director so we chose to have the site developed by an outside company. I spent approximately 20 hours working on the backend removing useless "features" and optimizing the site to pass the Core Web Vitals. It should've been a huge red flag when the company wouldn't show us the backend before launch. Additionally, when they launched the site they "no-indexed" the entire website! Recently, I sent a ticket to support to fix 404 pages. After getting no response for several days, I went into the site and fixed the error myself. They had the audacity to send me a "we fixed the error" email 24 hours after we fixed the issues ourselves! If you are looking for a well-built site, look elsewhere. This company is only good for pretty site that loads slow and is bogged down with junk. The company reached out and heard my complaints. There's not a lot they can do to make this right (since most of the work they left undone was finished by me), but at least they listened. They extended our site warranty to help fix any outstanding issues. I'm adjusting my rating to three-stars.

We scaled our project by migrating one site at a time, learning from each process to increase productivity and optimize results. We began each migration process with a kickoff meeting and received a detailed project plan and service requirements document from Betlace. Once the work started, Betlace carefully structured the old site data and worked with my team to ensure there would be no data loss in the migration process. They spent several hours working with members of our team who are the primary clients for the CMS to fully understand their operational tasks. They created custom wordpress plugins to mimic complicated and very specific use cases for our team. Simultaneously, they used the framework of live design elements and new design templates to build the frontend. Betlace used a variety of technical capabilities to complete each build, common in web development such php, ajax, and javascript. They also converted our site feeds from json formats to XML. They even assisted on non-wordpress DevOps issues within our 3rd party web hosting platform. We had multiple demos and meetings throughout the build process to keep track of the work and approve one stage before moving on to the next. When the sites were ready, Betlace planned the launch dates around our company needs. All thanks to Betlace for the awesome service provided.

We've been receiving assistance from Designotion in building websites from scratch for iOS and Android. In accordance with our specifications, their staff is assisting us in developing a user-friendly website and adding new features. Functionality-wise, users utilize the website's virtual wallet to scan their gift cards and retrieve information from the company that issued the card, including the remaining credit balance. In the event that a user needs more money than what is left on their gift cards, they can also set up a backup payment option on the website to finish their transaction. The goal is to use QR codes to make the procedure seamless. We're currently added some functionality to the website to make it expectional, so it's ready to users , but I'm really happy with Designotion's work. When a situation has arisen, Designotion has been open and communicative. It's also wonderful that they keep within budget. We use email, text messaging, Asana, Trello, and Google Meet as tools.
