I don’t usually write negative reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience with Zoek so others don’t have to go through what we did.While our initial interactions with the team were positive, things quickly went downhill. Communication was frequently delayed, inconsistent, and incredibly frustrating. We were repeatedly left without clear answers, and it became clear that the team was either unwilling or unable to competently deliver what was needed just to get our website live. After weeks of back and forth, we had to purchase hosting services elsewhere just to get our website live.Despite not meeting the expectations they set at the start, Zoek was unwilling to offer any refund or take any real accountability for the poor experience. It felt like we were strung along and taken advantage of.While the website design itself was decent, the overall experience was stressful, unprofessional, and disappointing. I strongly urge others to avoid working with this company. You deserve better service, better communication, and a team that actually delivers on what they promise. "

Jason O. and Liza S. are simply wonderful! They have helped me so much with designing my website. I knew nothing about website design, and they came right in and started handling everything, creating a website from scratch and consistency making edits that were in line with my vision. When you work with them, they also really take the time to explain things to you in a way that makes sense to people like me, who are terrible with technology. They teach you how to utilize the different tools that are on the website they have helped design, and they patiently walk you through everything step by step. I do not recommend Zoek based on my experience.In January, we agreed to proceed with Zoek for website development and they took payment without a written contract or a meeting with our assigned Project Manager. Our kickoff call with the Project Manager was far from productive—he was very disengaged. Ten long weeks later, the first draft missed about 75% of the features we had clearly outlined, and the poorly designed draft did not reflect our brand.Over the next five months, despite maintaining a consistent scope, key features were missing. We were even advised to use third-party tools like JotForm, which defeated the purpose of hiring Zoek for a custom website.Communication from the salesperson stopped completely after payment, and our refund requests were denied. The entire process was very frustrating and draining.We ultimately filed a credit card dispute, which was ruled in our favor.Throughout this process, we felt misled, as the expectations set were not met. Based on our experience, Zoek seems to prioritize payment over client satisfaction. If you choose to work with them, be sure to document everything and get all commitments in writing. "
