They were great at understanding our vision and transforming it into a user-friendly, functional product. Communication was seamless throughout the process, and they provided valuable insights that improved the overall design. Warning: Avoid Apptunix (apptunix.com) If you're considering hiring offshore developers, especially from India, I want to share a warning about Apptunix (apptunix.com) and its CEO. My company worked with them on a development project, investing close to $40K, only to have them hold our code hostage and demand more money before releasing it.We entered into the project with clear expectations and milestones, but as we progressed, Apptunix consistently delayed, under-delivered, and eventually refused to hand over the work we had already paid for unless we agreed to pay more. This kind of behavior is nothing short of extortion. It seems like their CEO and leadership are more interested in squeezing money out of clients than delivering quality work.Beyond the financial frustration, the skill level and talent from this team were not up to par. The development work was substandard, full of bugs, and lacked the quality we expected for the investment we made. I strongly urge anyone considering offshore development to do your due diligence or, better yet, reconsider offshore development altogether, as the experience in some regions, particularly India, seems to be in decline.

We were creating a software in the health care environment. It was a software for publishers to improve their revenue by making a dynamic inventory on their side and getting more income out of their advertising. We needed help with the recruitment of an outsourced, part-time frontend developer with broad experience and availability.

Web Development Review from AJ Canty

We’ve been working with Vention for quite some time and consider them an extension of our team, rather than an offshore vendor. We needed solid mobile developers to work with our in-house engineers to build our Primer SDKs on both mobile platforms. This was not a trivial thing as it required a lot of cross-functional communication, but the Vention team was up to the challenge. They quickly adopted the best practices we follow at Primer and proved to be effective and proactive.

We needed to quickly expand our dev team to build out a new feature set, and Hivex helped us find and bring on skilled remote developers to make that happen. The devs hit every deadline we set, sometimes even early. If we needed changes or had questions, they were super responsive - usually got back to us within a couple hours.

We had a temporary gap in our technical team due to some transitions, and we needed to keep our development momentum going strong. Hivex provided us with skilled developers who seamlessly integrated into our team. They had the expertise we needed and filled the gap until we made permanent hires. Our collaboration with Hivex made sure our projects kept going without delay, we didn't lose our development momentum, and there wasn't any disruption. It was a huge help during a challenging time.

Another company had started the project, so Quest Global picked it up, improved it, and completed it. They did 90%95% of the project. They had all the skills we needed, good technical expertise, reasonable pricing, and they could deliver the project on time. All in all, they were a boutique developing company wed work with the decision-makers and get a high level of service.
