Mike the SEO Guy is a one-person SEO and web design business based in Suffolk, near Bury St Edmunds. I'm Mike Arnold, and I've spent 11 years getting business websites found on Google.

What I do

Most businesses already have a website. The problem is that it's dated, doesn't show up for the things they sell, or hasn't been touched since it launched. So I do two things:

Website takeover. I take on the site you already have. The first month is a full SEO audit and the fixes that come out of it. After that I work through an agreed roadmap every month: new service and location pages, old pages rewritten, technical fixes, and a short report showing what changed.

New build. If the site isn't worth saving, or there isn't one, I build a small, fast website planned from keyword research. The core pages go live first, then it grows each month in the same way.

How it works

Both run on one monthly fee, with no setup fee and no minimum term. Each plan includes a set number of work blocks a month, and the roadmap decides how they're used. You deal with me directly, and you keep everything I build if you stop.

I work on WordPress, Shopify and custom-built sites, and I only suggest a rebuild when the current site is holding things back.

Other work

I also take on one-off jobs: SEO audits, technical SEO fixes, keyword research, blog writing and rewriting existing content. Agencies use me for white-label SEO and content.
