Our experience with NexusBond has been deeply disappointing and ultimately very costly.In October 2020, we engaged NexusBond for a £10,000 website redevelopment project that included the migration of over 4,000 products. From the outset, data migration was made clear as critical to our business. NexusBond repeatedly assured us this would not be an issue and that any challenges would be handled as part of the project. Those assurances proved misleading.Despite requests for early test migrations, NexusBond refused and insisted on completing the design first. We relied on their advice and trusted their promises that migration would be resolved later. This approach wasted months of time and left us exposed when the migration finally took place.When it did, the results were disastrous. Product data was disorganised, functionality was broken, and the site was unusable. The platform delivered WordPress with Elementor and WooCommerce was clearly not suitable for a large product catalogue, a limitation never highlighted.Instead of fixing the issues as agreed, NexusBond requested additional payment to complete work already within scope. We then waited nearly eight weeks for a quotation, followed by another six-week timeline to resolve problems that should never have existed.There was no proper training or handover. NexusBond declared the project complete, handed over login credentials, and disengaged, despite unresolved issues. Repeated attempts to contact senior contacts went unanswered.After three years and £10,000 spent, we were left with an unusable website and no resolution. NexusBond made promises they did not deliver on and showed little accountability. Businesses relying on accurate data migration or complex e-commerce should approach with extreme caution. My experience with NexusBond has been positive throughout. They initially designed a website/e-commerce platform to display and sell my photography. The outcome was as I'd envisioned.
