Sara graduated from University of Delaware's Visual Communications department in 2009 with a focus in Graphic Design and Advertising. She started her career at Quaker City Mercantile in Philadelphia as an Art Director after graduation. During her time at QCM, she worked on campaigns for a variety of national and international accounts ranging from lifestyle to alcohol brands. Clients included Lilly Pulitzer, TYR Sport, Hendricks Gin, Miller Light, Narragansett, Art in the Age, along with a number of high profile businesses such as Guinness and ECCO through 2014.

After Digitas, Sara formed her own creative consultancy in 2016, Walnut Hill Creative. That allowed her to take on full time freelance work. Shes partnered with prominent advertising agencies where she has worked on new business pitches, lead creative teams to produce all creative for AOR and DAOR accounts, and has designed innovative solutions for apps and AI chatbots.

She also takes on smaller clients and works within the restaurant industry, non-profits, cannabis venture studios, and B2B out-of-home marketing.
