Communication was smooth either through our teams communication channel or with the project manager via email. We were in daily contact with the UX/UI designer in form of dailies or when we had to clarify some questions. With the project manager, we had a short conversation every 2 weeks to clarify all possible questions. We personally love to work in a very process-oriented way. Because when we understand how to do something, we usually know how the end result can look like. With Digis, we also had the feeling that they knew what they were doing and how to do it. Every next step was planned from the beginning. If something didn't work in line with our processes, we could readjust it. We were basically satisfied with everything.

Warning: Avoid Apptunix (apptunix.com) If you're considering hiring offshore developers, especially from India, I want to share a warning about Apptunix (apptunix.com) and its CEO. My company worked with them on a development project, investing close to $40K, only to have them hold our code hostage and demand more money before releasing it. We entered into the project with clear expectations and milestones, but as we progressed, Apptunix consistently delayed, under-delivered, and eventually refused to hand over the work we had already paid for unless we agreed to pay more. This kind of behavior is nothing short of extortion. It seems like their CEO and leadership are more interested in squeezing money out of clients than delivering quality work. Beyond the financial frustration, the skill level and talent from this team were not up to par. The development work was substandard, full of bugs, and lacked the quality we expected for the investment we made. I strongly urge anyone considering offshore development to do your due diligence or, better yet, reconsider offshore development altogether, as the experience in some regions, particularly India, seems to be in decline.
