- Project Brief: Design a health and wellness mobile app that gives users centralized control of their medical information through body mapping, health timelines, medication tracking, and family profiles.
Most medical apps digitize one corner of the problem: a portal for one hospital, a pill reminder, a lab result buried in email. M.E. Me bets that a personal medical history should work like a driver's license, one record that is instantly available, always current, and carried by the person it describes.
The onboarding builds around a customizable body map. Users pin prior surgeries, injuries, and lingering conditions to a model of their own body, so a checkup starts by pointing at the answer instead of hunting for it.
The timeline turns a scattered record into one continuous story. Every visit, immunization, and prescription lands in chronological order, and the full history exports in a tap for a new provider's reference.
Prescriptions stay tied to the reasons behind them. Active medications link to the conditions they treat, and refill alerts arrive before the bottle runs out, so mystery pills and missed doses stop happening.
One login covers the whole household. Secure family profiles let a single account manage children and dependents, each with a body map and history of their own.
Real-time provider data is the quiet headline. Approved doctors push test results, imaging, and updates straight to patients, cutting the wait and the crossed wires between visits.
Security sits in the foundation, not the settings menu, through HIPAA alignment from the first screen. The team built the app in Figma with encryption at rest, secure logins, and timed auto-logouts treated as constraints rather than afterthoughts.
Every screen chases the same idea: put patients in possession of their own story. The map, the timeline, the reminders, and the family profiles all trade the anxiety of "I don't remember" for the confidence of "here it is."
Results & Impact
The beta backed the bet:
- More than 1,000 early adopters, who pointed to quick exports and body-map clarity as what changed their doctor visits
- A 95% subscription renewal rate, with nearly all trial users converting to paying subscribers
- A 70% drop in appointment confusion, as missing records and forgotten details grew rare
