- Project Brief: Produce a print catalog that communicates creative philosophy through editorial storytelling, material exploration, and tactile design.
A catalog print archive turns raw inspiration into a physical experience. Hybrid: Curiosity in All Things documents a two-decade legacy, showcasing how eclectic interests build the foundation for world-class design.
The structural composition rejects linear formality. By intentionally pairing commercial commissions with private archives and written reflections, the design constructs a non-linear storyline that highlights the seamless integration of artistic curiosity and technical production.
Experimental production anchors the book’s tactile identity. Multiple paper stocks and marbled edges combine to transform the project into a physical archive that feels truly alive.
The graphic framework creates a palpable sense of tension. This contrast between external minimalist restraint and a dense, high-vibrancy interior reinforces the thesis that design is never a standalone act. It is the inevitable byproduct of a deep, complex, and lifelong engagement with the world's myriad curiosities.
