- Project Brief: Create a brand film that introduces Coca-Cola's refreshed visual identity through minimalist motion, iconic color cues, and nostalgic audio celebrating the brand's heritage.
A brand video works when every element points back to one identity instead of showing off. "Coca-Cola Icon" does that, stripping motion and sound down until the red-and-white system carries the whole piece.
The visual approach runs on restraint. Objects glide and fade rather than perform, and the deliberate pacing feels modern without rushing, so the logo and packaging stay the focus at every cut.
Sound does the emotional lifting. Reviving the "Open Happiness" and "Always Coca-Cola" melodies triggers instant recognition, and a clean mix with almost no ambient noise lets those jingles bridge the brand's heritage to its current look.
The refresh does carry one risk worth naming. Pulling Coke Zero into the same red-and-white scheme strengthens family resemblance but softens product differentiation, and the bold wordmark treatment has drawn outside comparisons that pull against the intended read. The confidence lands regardless, since the design trusts recognition over novelty.
