Me and my friends visited ORIGIN Coffee Shop last Thursday. The place looked nice, and out of curiosity, we decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing and not what we expected.Two of my friends entered the shop first while I was looking for parking. While they were in line, a staff member told them that they couldn’t dine in because we’re wearing shorts. We were really surprised— is there an actual policy like this in Saudi Arabia?If this is a rule you enforce, it would be better to have someone at the entrance informing customers beforehand. That way, people don’t enter the shop only to be turned away, which feels disappointing and even discriminatory.We don’t fully understand the reasoned behind this, but at the end of the day, it’s your business. We just wanted to share our experience. A lesson learned for us.
