Born in 2004, it has been managed by a unique Creative Director embodied by the three founders ever since, Alessandro Floridia, Masa Magnoni, and Mauro Pastore: friends, colleagues, and partners for almost 30 years.
Synergy and complementarity are distinguishing strengths of the team; which is internally composed by 10 designers and a solid network of trusted collaborators such as copywriters, motion graphic designers, directors, editors, photographers, illustrators, UX designers, software developers, and many more.
Cacao Designs projects always focus on a main concept and the brands values: Essence before Shape. This choice has led us to gain prizes and recognitions at several top-rated contests and international design magazines: ADI Design Index, Creativity International Print & Packaging Design Awards, IDA International Design Award, How, ReBrand, Novum, Graphis, Kak, Gold Ink, TDC Type Directors Club, Red-Dot, How, LogoLounge, D&AD Design, and Art Direction Award, Ed-Awards, Zgraf, ADCI Art Directors Club Italiano.
The three partners themselves have been jury members or speakers at several design events (ReBrandReBrand in Rhode Island, Syzigy in Barcelona and Graphic Stories in Cyprus).
