I engaged Imajine to build The Sommpour website expecting not just execution, but a professional partner with ownership of UX/UI and usability. This was not a simple brochure siteit required clear navigation, intuitive user flow, and a structure that could scale into a larger learning platform.Communication was generally prompt, and the team was responsive in implementing requested changes. They also handled project closure professionally and transferred all assets cleanly.However, the experience fell short in a key area: UX/UI ownership. Over several weeks, I raised consistent concerns around navigation, long scrolling, and usability. These were ongoing inputs shared well before launch, but there was little proactive guidance from the team. The work remained execution-led rather than design-led.When I escalated concerns during the intended launch week, I was told the site had been delivered exactly as requested and that my involvement limited alternative design exploration. This was disappointing, as client input should guide business needsnot replace responsibility for usability.More concerning was that these UX gaps were later treated as additional scope, with extra time and cost proposed for relatively minor refinements. Combined with delays beyond the original timeline, the experience felt more transactional than collaborative.While Imajine can execute based on direction, small businesses seeking a true UX-driven partner should clarify expectations around design ownership upfront. "
