Opal Studio S.A.S. is an audiovisual production company created in January 2022 when Cristian Vargas and Juan Conde decided to return to Barranquilla to start making films. They were joined by Lis Guerrini, a graphic designer from Argentina. Opal started working for clients, mostly in the healthcare sector, in Barranquilla, from corporate videos to social media content creation.

Juan Conde studied screenwriting and then audiovisual production in Canada. During his formative years, he worked for studios like Yap Films in Canada and independent productions. In the case of Cristian Vargas and Lis Guerrini, both studied at the UNLP (Universidad Nacional de La Plata), with Cristian graduating in audiovisual production and Lis in graphic design.

Now, Opal Studio is singularly dedicated to producing content for our clients and helping them reach out to their audience through social media, while desigining holistic strategies that account for our clients' every needs and services.
