Honestly, I have nothing short of 5 star feedback for this team. Brent, Amber and the entire crew at Matchbox are extremely intelligent, kind, professional and excellent at what they do. My company - Gunter Pest and Lawn in Kansas City - have been using their services for over eight years. While incorporating and revamping our business model, it became apparent that we were need of a website update. I went through a process of visiting with several different companies and became obvious almost immediately that Matchbox would be the team to carry us forward. Their level of expertise, knowledge, and portfolio of previous work were without peer. On top of that, their services and ongoing support is top notch... and that's from the perspective of someone that managed services for many years in the corporate world! When it comes to technology I'm certainly in need of expert assistance. Last week I had a huge scare! I accidentally deleted ALL of my web-based courses off of my business site. We had a great initial project with Ameex before they were purchased by Perficient. Post-support was slow, but acceptable, however as time went on, I stopped getting the level of communication and time itemization I was accustomed to. With Perficient taking over, things devolved pretty quickly, and despite multiple conversations with my account manager - nothing changed, even after bumping up hours to have more dedicated resources. Ultimately, I cancelled the contract this year. Disappointing because their team/work was stellar (and the development team is still solid) before, but the simple asks were continually ignored, and over time, I lost trust that I was getting the hours agreed upon. Towards the end, there was also what felt like a lot of gaslighting of my concerns, and outside of an initial project, I cannot recommend Perficient for ongoing support. Edit: I'm now bumping this to a 1 Star because I've spent the last 3 weeks digging into code and it's one questionable decision after another. Really poor.
