I had a disappointing experience with Veritis Group during the hiring process for a Product Manager role. After several rounds of interviews and alignment on a specific compensation, I was selected. However, the offer letter that followed listed a much lower salary than what was previously agreed and documented. When questioned, I was told the difference would be covered via “bonuses,” but these were never documented. The offer also lacked critical information — including client name, responsibilities, benefits, and work location. Requests for transparency went unanswered, and the offer was eventually withdrawn without explanation. I’ve attached redacted proof showing the original submitted salary vs. the reduced offer to help others evaluate their interactions more carefully. Visa holders and job seekers: please ask the right questions early, request written documentation, and do not submit sensitive documents until you’ve received a formal offer.

For the past 20 years, our company has been honored to help some of the world's best firms restructure sales and marketing divisions. We had engaged Alliance Interactive to redesign a 200-page website with functionality improvements; the scope of work was massive. At the time, our website ranked well and with sufficient conversion rates, but it needed to be modernized. However, it was imperative that conversion rate, branding and search engine results be maintained. Therefore, we began looking for digital marketing companies to assist with a complete redesign. For context, we budgeted about $35,000 for the website redesign and overhaul project. Therefore, we had many digital marketing firms to choose from. After interviewing about a dozen, we ended up choosing Alliance Interactive. They blew away expectations. Our project manager was extremely smart and innovative. Most of the glowing reviews here don’t seem to be from real clients. My experience was the opposite. This company is grossly incompetent. They charged high fees but delivered sub-par work, riddled with delays and headaches that continued even after the contract ended. They were hired to design a web app, but the end product was so poor that I had to bring in engineers to fix the mess they left behind. There were issues at every stage of the project, from design to deployment. What stings the most is that I was the one who recommended them to my team because a friend knew the owner. I deeply regret that recommendation. The only reason I’m giving two stars instead of one is that the team, Lanre especially, were at least cooperative — but cooperation is pointless (and frankly annoying) when the work is fundamentally flawed. My advice: stick to using them only for basic website creation, and hire a skilled freelancer for more advanced projects. My advice to Chisom: It’s unfortunate that our experience turned out so poorly, because your company is a great concept with a lot of potential. Protect the brand you’ve worked so hard to build — the sweat and tears show — by investing in skilled engineers and raising delivery standards. Otherwise, you risk frustrated clients, avoidable disputes, and damage to the reputation you’ve worked to establish.

I'm a restaurant owner and called Fountain City to explore the idea of building a custom app. I left an enquiry on their site and was called back within hours. Anwar then spent over an hour explaining to me the ins and outs of the custom app idea, discussed with me many facets of strategic planning for my business, and gave me a WAY better idea of what was available, what they could offer, and what I actually needed. I was impressed and heartened by the thoroughness, rigor and overall professionalism of this interaction. In a world of half-baked and poorly executed final projects, to receive such care and intensity of focus even on the front end of an interaction was amazing. These guys seem to be hardwired for success.

The process from opening meeting to final wireframing was seamless.
