- Project Brief: Design a mobile-first community platform where athletes build their brand, connect with fans, and get discovered by organizations, with native iOS and Android apps.
Athletes outside the major leagues post every day, yet few sports and leisure apps turn that reach into real opportunity. Goji Labs designed ADAK: Athlete Community Platform App as a home base where athletes own their profile and get discovered by organizations.
ADAK Athletic is a community-first platform that connects players, fans, and organizations. The founders wanted profiles, updates, and fan engagement in one mobile space built for sports culture.
Goji Labs started with interviews with athletes and fans. Those conversations validated what each group needed before any screens took shape.
Next, the team mapped the information architecture and experience flows. Each flow was built around ADAK's core community features.
A modular UI system tailored to sports culture carries the visual design. Goji Labs also developed the native iOS and Android apps, with frameworks for real-time content sharing between athletes and fans.
Onboarding got the closest attention. Repeated rounds of usability testing refined how new athletes set up profiles and adopt key features.
Goji Labs worked with ADAK's founders from early discovery through launch. Founder Michael Krone said the team handled the full app build professionally and delivered.
