I am a small business owner, and I don’t write a negative review especially for another business but sometimes you have to call out the thugs so that others don’t have to go through your ordeal.We have been working tirelessly for over the past 3.5 years on a passion project of ours , a patented non-steroidal eczema care range.As parents of an eczema sufferer, we had invested everything we had to bring this business to life, and we trusted Elevate to get us some media exposure.As a small business investing $18K(plus GST) was a big financial commitment but we went ahead as we were made to believe that there work with EAA made them the “experts” in eczema care market.Micayla was our account manager. She was lovely to talk to but we also interacted with few other people as she had some leaves planned & eventually left the organization.Whilst our launch got delayed which meant that some time-lines of the project changed.We were promised five pieces of editorial coverage across online, print, TV and broadcast outlets for the launch campaign but we didn’t get even a single one.The excuse used by Elevate for not meeting those KPIs was that eczema wasn’t an area of interest for media outlets. Three (3) weeks after our website launch ACA ran an eczema story and within a month there was TV feature on skynews on World Atopic Eczema day (Sep 14) . There were several other media stories in the following month as Eczema is a condition on rise especially for babies.We paid Elevate almost $20K to get media exposure for our eczema brand and all they delivered was a media training for our CEO and some social media posts which we didn’t approve or use. What's more appalling than Elevate’s incompetence is the lack of accountability that Elevate demonstrated in this matter.Their director Mark Deacon was so unprofessional & rude when we asked for a partial refund as the KPIs weren’t delivered.Elevate’s incompetency costed us our brand launch and they didn’t even have the decency to apologize.As soon as we find some time we will take Elevate Communications to court. It is not just to get our money back but to deter such entities from swindling someone’s hard earned money and holding them accountable for the loss of opportunity. Taking a legal action against Elevate will not just be about seeking redress for the wronged; it’s about reinforcing the principle that ethical practices are non-negotiable. "

Elevate was out first experience of working with a PR firm, they made us feel very comfortable with everything that was going on, they supported us through all elements of the tasks we took on and they have left us feeling so much more comfortable in this space moving forward. We will definitely work with them again in our future endeavors. "

Elevate Communication has really felt like an extension of our own marketing department at Wynnum Plaza, providing such a wide range of skills and expertise. "
