Ever since winning the prestigious 6th Grade Primary School Bookwork Prize design has remained in my blood. At University, many out-of-class hours were dedicated to art directing and producing the Campus Magazine... this is where my love of all things typography, photography, and design began.

Post graduating I jetted to London, where I was fortunate to land a junior designer role with the global Publicis Group. There I learned about commercial creative process & production, as well as the reality of working to the world's tightest client deadlines.

Upon returning to Australia, I set up Josh Murray Design to focus on brand development, design, and art direction. Through the 90s, the world of online evolved exponentially and my service grew to include being eBays sole Australian supplier of advertising creative in their first year of local operation making me a global authority on 10-kilobyte ad campaigns!
