I've been using Spotlight Branding for my social media marketing for over 3 years. Their approach to marketing made sense to me, which is why I chose to work with them. I am very happy with the content they create and their responsiveness to my ideas. It is really a collaborative approach, but they do all the hard work! I recently decided to use Spotlight to redesign my website and create an email newsletter. As expected, their work was beautiful! "Stephanie Pedrick's Review Sourced from Google
Working with Spotlight Branding for the last few years has been a pleasure. It’s rare to find like minded professionals. Thank you for being a great partner. Looking forward to our next assignment. "Ash Habashi's Review Sourced from Google
I have worked with Spotlight Branding on several video projects. They are incredibly organized and excellent communicators; which always ensures a smooth and impactful experience for all parties involved. They strike the perfect balance between professionalism and relatability, and the value is clearly seen in the results they produce for their clients. Highly recommend! "Mark R. Maria at Spotlight Branding is excellent. I signed up with Spotlight for them to do my website, and then I added assistance with social media. Maria is extremely responsive, gives good advice, and always gets right back to me. I highly recommend spotlight and Maria. "John Evans's Review Sourced from Google
Spotlight Branding was the worst financial and marketing decision I made last year. I spent more than $13,000 and have nothing to show for it. Every person I worked with was nice, but they could not deliver quality service. For example, my account manager at Spotlight assured me that although I had the opportunity to review blogs before they auto-published, it wasn't necessary. After months of working with the copyrighter assigned to me, during which time I was instructed to provide detailed feedback so he could "learn my voice," I allowed articles to get posted without reviewing them. Two blogs contained factually inaccurate information. In one instance, a valued lawyer colleague called to alert me, and a good referral source contacted me about the second one. Spotlight didn't just fail to deliver quality content, their work embarrassed me.I later learned that the monthly newsletters they emailed only ever went to the email I list I initially provided. They never added any of my new clients, for an entire year. When I finally decided to leave Spotlight, it came out that they had also moved my website without asking me, and the contract tech people they hired to build it (not in-house technical staff) had cobbled together a site I could not easily move. Other than sending me a packet with the data on it, no staff member was available to help with the migration. My staff and I tried three different hosting sites and finally had to hire another contractor to rebuild it entirely after Dreamhost (recommended by Spotlight as a host that could handle the site) detected malware and shut it down... again.Spotlight is a branding company so they KNOW how devastating it is to have your website down, how you can lose credibility if you send inaccurate information to peers and professional colleagues, and how your relationship with clients can be weakened if they aren't added to the email list to receive your newsletter. Spotlight demonstrated a complete lack of care for me and my clients. If you're shopping for help with your marketing, look for a company that isn't afraid to provide metrics to show how the money you're spending is resulting in new clients and better service to existing clients. Spotlight had no interest in that kind of accountability. They couldn't even provide us with a functional website, factually accurate blogs and a regularly updated client email list.
