Wallaroo were the worst business partners I’ve worked with in the last 7 years since starting my business.They made so many mistakes managing our Meta and Google ads, e.g. minimal creative testing on Meta, poorly crafted ads with mis-matched videos and copy advertising different products, used discount codes which didn’t exist, way over spent advertising to our existing customer audience (wasting thousands in ad spend each month), awful communication and poor account management. If I go into more specifics I could go on and on.For Black Friday, 1 week before we went live they had not started prep for any of our campaigns - even ignoring my pleas to organise in the weeks ahead. We finally had an emergency call 6 days before we went live where the CEO realised what was happening and tried to get things on track. But the whole situation caused me 2-3 weeks of the worst stress and anguish trying to get everything sorted and ensure our BFCM was a success. We’re talking staying up until 4am every day for 1 week, pounding energy drinks, to keep up with the workload of the tasks they had not completed themselves. This catastrophe was caused directly from our account manager’s incompetence.They caused me and my team so much stress and I try not to think about all the money they lost my business because of their mistakes. They always had an excuse and would gaslight me when I tried to bring up issues. I left after the minimum contract. If we hadn’t parted ways I think they could have destroyed my business from the inside.The results speak for themselves and reflect how incompetent they are:ROAS and volume with Wallaroo in December 2022 (the last month we worked with them): £98.5K turnover with 2.43 ROASSince leaving Walleroo our ROAS results have consistently been improving. ROAS and volume we achieved in May 2023: £102k turnover with 4.16 ROASTo all current Wallaroo partners: please get an independent party to check the work they’re doing for you! If they’re doing anything close to how they managed our account there’s loads of money they’re leaving off the table.To anyone considering working with them: run for the hills! Learn how to run ads yourself or choose another partner. "
