This is not standard interview practice; a reasonable hiring conversation touches on career transitions briefly, not as a repeated line of questioning across every job change.More concerning: at one point, the conversation moved into asking about my personal political views. This has no place in a professional interview and is not a lawful or standard hiring practice anywhere I'm aware of.Having already cleared the technical bar, I expected the final round to assess culture fit and professional judgment — not to feel like being put on trial for my career choices and personal beliefs.
