So sphiscated accounting systems I must say. For what? Never saw an irs payable in any return they asked me to prepare although I’m no licensed accountant. No names no whistle just a honest google review. Makes me wonder what an accountant does, cooking books or AICPA reporting them. No mark up in my basis. The roc building is beyond comprehension though, they even do SNL up or down stairs never got to see a show so I don’t know

Although my notes and requirements were obscure, he managed to pull out the most out of it and deliver exactly what I needed.Also he presented me the proposal for the website and I fell in love instantly with the design. Found a highly misleading advertisement for promising to sell NOLs and R&D credits "up to 95% of the value" when what they were really trying to do was lead gen for doing R&D work (because the former isn't really possible). After I inquired, they spammed a phone number they found rather than communicated back to my email. To their credit, after I expressed my displeasure, they did write a more detailed reply.

I have been using Faith Accounting for the past 3 years or so and the service is excelletnt. Coreen is so good that when I referred my mother after removing her from an accountant that had overcharged and had her owing money to the IRS, Coreen reviewed and fixed that year as well as doing the current year of taxes. She got all my mother's money back from the IRS and did not charge her for that resolution while being in the midst of a few days away of having her child. Coreen is excellent and knows her stuff!! Takes absolutely forever. No one to follow up to make sure all members of your “team“ are moving as they should. You can’t just call and get somebody on the phone. You have to schedule a time with them which could sometimes be months only for them to tell you they’re missing paperwork, Or “I’m not sure that’s not my department” or in my case, oh your person is no longer with the company. I have to reassign you to a new person! I had two months of business tax paperwork to combine with my personal tax paperwork and here it is August 2025 and those are still not done!! As a new business owner, I thought I was doing the right thing by hiring a team because I knew I had no business messing around with any numbers, but I have been so stressed out and Creating more work for myself after hiring them, then I would have with any other company. Don’t make the same mistake I did! stay away!

Incompetent and negligent. Their employees will get back to you at their own discretion and will find any way to try to put any wrongdoing or mistakes back on the client or yourself. They have cut corners with my own payroll that I've had to correct after multiple discussions and confirmations on the very subject. That after having to fight for nearly 2 months to even get the correct timecards posted and onboarding paperwork approved. An absolute joke of a company. Just had the MOST unfriendly and rude call back from Norman Blatner. I called this office earlier today explaining that I was looking to hire a CPA to help me with NYS tax questions.I received a call back from Norman Blatner well after 5pm. He seemed to have misunderstood what exactly I needed help with and very rudely told me that he would not be able to help me and he was "just calling as a courtesy to let me know to remove his contact info from my list of people who could help me". When I tried to explain what it was that I actually needed he kept cutting me off and re-stating that he was just calling to tell me that he couldn't help me. He spoke very fast and wouldn't let me get a word in edgewise. His tone was rude and dismissive. He definitely is not anyone I would want to do business with. I don't know if he treats everyone like trash or if I was just the unfortunate victim of him today. I do not recommend anyone reach out to this guy for your CPA needs. Do better Blatner & Mineo CPA PC!!!!!

I used FirstBase last year to set up my company, and honestly, I can’t recommend them if you’re looking for real guidance. The whole process felt very automated, almost AI-generated, with minimal human support. Their replies are slow or nonexistent, and the help they provide is extremely limited, which makes it really hard, especially if you’re a beginner trying to figure things out.If your only goal is to technically open a company, then yes, they can do that. But beyond that, don’t expect much. For the price, I’m sure there are cheaper options that deliver the same (or even better) level of service.I wish I had gone with a provider that actually offers hands-on support and clear explanations, because FirstBase made an already overwhelming process feel even harder.

Penny over charged me for my service. I spoke with a lot of my peers and they were absolutely shocked with the price a paid.I have a small solo cleaning business & I caregiver (on the books w/ a company so a W2). She charged me $250 with a “discount”I emailed her a week later bc I needed to add a few checks I found and she said it would be $100 to go back and edit my taxes.This was not fair at all.
