I’m not usually one for making posts like this about other companies I do business with but given what I’ve experienced over the last 5 years, I feel very compelled to raising awareness into my experiences with Dotsquares. Initially, this company was very good at handling our website requirements. It was thanks to this that when I became the owner of Lorryspotting.com that I figured it would make sense to have them upgrade that website. It was a big project but with all the accolades and expertise that Dotsquares boasts about, it seemed to be within their scope of capability. Instead, it turned into the most miserable of projects that was riddled with the purest incompetence that I’ve had the misfortune to witness in almost 20 years of business. As per their terms of business, I advanced paid for part of the project yet they were incapable of delivering a functioning website. Added to this, the ageing status of the old site meant we suffered a server failure 16 months ago and when restoring the old site, it was proven that Dotsquares negligently compromised the colossal amount of data held on that site to potential hackers. By this point, enough was enough. Despite so-called “project managers” apparently understanding my business, they became mouthpieces with a catalogue of excuses and rhetoric that failed to take responsibility enveloped by expectations we would continue to pay to fix what they had caused. Ordinarily, escalating this to a company’s CEO should yield an immediate improvement to rectifying a situation. The CEO of this company ignored my email and relegated its handling to the very people causing the problem and failing to deliver any outcomes. It was therefore with no other alternative that I had to commence legal proceedings against this company. Despite repeated attempts to defend what was in essence an indefensible position, we reached a settlement on the matter, the terms of which I’m bound by a confidentiality order but has avoided it being played out before a Judge. Based on my reflections, this company may theoretically claim to value their customers but in reality their actions speak far louder. They do not deserve to be in business and I can’t even begin to fathom how they deal with some of the brands that their client list cites. I would absolutely urge anyone who does, or considers to work with them in any capacity to run for the hills - you will regret it otherwise! I only wish I had of checked out some of the reviews that are out there - reflecting on them now resonates virtually a carbon copy as to my experiences!

This review comes with some caveats 1. This review relates specifically to Google & Meta ad campaigns. We didn't use their SEO or marketing services. 2. We’re a small (2 person), new business – less than 2 years 3. We’re a health business - may be a niche market that responds differently to other businesses 4. The rating relates to the actual results vs claimed results; tech team good, salesperson unrealistic expectations. We're a small business that's been struggling with Google ads for the last 2 years. We've worked with other third parties including Google's own "Ad Experts" without success - a lot of wasted time & money. I was sceptical when Purge approached us & rather cynical of their claims but decided to at least give them a go. The first few weeks of their Google ad campaign saw an increase in patient numbers, so it looked unexpectedly promising; after 3 weeks though numbers dropped back to what we’d been experiencing. 2 months in we did an analysis of new patients and discovered the surge was actually related to factors largely other than the Google ad campaign, specifically word-of-mouth, passing traffic & organic searches for us. Half the patients who booked through the campaign ad didn’t show up to their appointments. When the numbers dropped, we agreed to add a Meta (Facebook/Instagram) ad campaign. Again, we were told how successful this had been generating leads for other businesses. We only ran this for 2 weeks with no genuine leads (all but 2 were accidental form submissions which we paid for). I can’t fault the implementation team for their work setting up the campaigns. We have enough experience ourselves now to recognise that, at least compared to the other agencies we’ve dealt with, they certainly seemed to know what they were doing. The issue came down to the over-enthusiastic claims of the salesperson who was promising results from something (Google) that they ultimately have no control over. We ended our relationship with Purge as it was costing us $3.40 to generate $1 of new business – unsustainable for us as a new business. I won’t say don’t try them; I would say monitor your results very closely and watch your ROI.

There is a fountain within the campus with some greenery. There are either pool or table tennis tables on each floor. The work culture is nice which you find in other locations as well.
