Worked with Allie Horovitz in November at the tail end of a months-long job search. She was insightful, helpful, engaging, and thoughtful in bringing an opportunity to my attention that - frankly speaking - other recruiters had tried to get me to listen to, but I had passed on.The time she took to ask questions of me and also to share information about the opportunity displayed the absolute best professionalism and consultative partnership in a way that I wish all recruiters would mimic. I never heard of Mondo staffing until Brittany Hale reached out with a new opportunity. We talked through the opportunity and how it apply to my experience. We found ourselves in the hands of QBO after our previous accountant merged her practice with theirs. We didn't feel great about the process in working with them for tax prep and pursued other help after one year. Our new accountant caught a major error within minutes of scanning through our QBO filings which cost us well over $2,000 at the time.We followed up with their team to understand how an error like that could have happened. I was assured by the president that he would personally investigate; I never heard back.

I've enjoyed working with Artisan both on internal projects and being placed with clients through them. While they don't see the same number of roles as some of the bigger companies, they do tend to get jobs with higher pay rates than some of the other staffing agencies - and definitely advocate for the talent when it comes to dealing with clients. As an accounting firm I would give them 1 star. I recently discovered a litany of deductions they failed to consider. You will be given an EA, which is just a glorified tax preparer. They will know nothing and be slow to reply. You might as well get your taxes done by H&R block or a proper independent CPA. If these folks do your taxes, get prepared for a larger tax bill. I strongly advise against it.
