Caution Advised - Unsatisfactory Experience with Concetto Labs As a business owner at the start-up phase, choosing the right partners is critical. Unfortunately, my experience with Concetto Labs was challenging and was far inferior my expectations. Platform Expertise: The primary issue was the mismatch between their purported expertise and the actual skill set provided. I was promised Squarespace experts, but the team assigned to my project seemed unfamiliar with the platform. This led to a significant portion of the billed hours being allocated to research and development tasks that a Squarespace-proficient team might have completed much more efficiently. Design Quality: Additionally, the quality of the design work delivered was below par. I found myself needing to step in and handle the majority of the design work, which was unexpected and time-consuming. Communication Breakdown: There were also communication issues, particularly with the VP of Sales, who often seemed unaware of our previous email exchanges. This resulted in repetitive conversations and a general feeling of inefficiency. Billing Concerns: My greatest concern was with the billing structure. I was charged based on hours spent, which, given the lack of Squarespace expertise, led to unnecessary costs for my business without delivering the expected results. Advice to Potential Clients: For those considering Concetto Labs, I recommend requesting detailed case studies of their work, particularly in your specific field. Its also crucial to communicate your expectations clearly to avoid similar situations. Conclusion: In summary, while I believe Concetto Labs might have the potential for good work, my experience was far from satisfactory.
