Web Design Mechanic

Written promises, undelivered work, and a takedown threat. I am 70 and have operated Custom Sports Cards (CSC) for approximately 25 years. This has been my worst business transaction. I contacted Web Design Mechanic in October 2025 solely for a website for my pet nonprofit. WDM proposed the CSC rebuild; I did not approach them for it. After my Trustpilot review, WDM threatened in writing to take my websites down unless I removed it within two hours. My project manager repeatedly confirmed in writing that he had everything needed. In December 2025, WDM wrote that everything was ready to launch; in January 2026, that the AI was ready. Yet in July, they emailed asking for more details about Pet Trading Cards and the membership site. CSC launched with serious problems and incomplete work. Pet Trading Cards and the membership site were not delivered. The written AI offer promised unlimited use without token limits or additional usage charges. WDM later wrote that this was not practical. I have neither the AI on the promised terms nor a refund. I consider this a bait-and-switch. WDM has not acknowledged wrongdoing. My contract specified three years of AWS hosting for $4,449. WDM wrote that the president was in a good mood and added two years. I later discovered my website's server was with OVHcloud and provided OVHcloud with WDM's AWS sales documents. Capital One declined my initial payment. A representative told me by phone that the decline related to numerous complaints associated with the merchant. WDM then sent a different PayPal link, which worked. The payment appeared under M & F Collaboration Inc., although I contracted with WDM. I am contacting the FBI to report suspected fraud involving the hosting and AI sales and will provide my contracts, payment records, and written communications. I paid based on written promises that remain unfulfilled. I cannot recommend WDM. "
