In late 2023, I decided it was time to update my website for my in-home/online personal training business in Fort Collins. I was using the same iteration of that website since 2015, so it was way past time to do a refresh. The old website’s message is what drew people to contact me, but the site’s look was old and dated. I had been working with the same web designer since 2008, and he was a one-man show. I knew it was time to have an actual team that I could access to get more eyes and more ideas for the new website. I also wanted to find someone who was experienced in providing SEO services as well since that wasn’t my previous web guy’s forte.I wanted a local Fort Collins company to do my website instead of some national company that doesn’t know anything about Fort Collins. Enter SharpNET Solutions. They made the entire process so easy and seamless with getting my new website designed and up on the internet. My initial meeting was with the web designer, the director of web design, and an account manager. That was what I was looking for when I wanted a team! There were at least three people involved to give ideas and make sure the project moved forward. They listened to what I wanted to do with the website, offered their own ideas, and made sure I was happy with everything as we went through the process. The new website still conveys my original message that still gets me clients, but now it is also very professional-looking and extremely functional! It exceeded my expectations!After the website was done, we moved on to the SEO phase. Julia, my account manager, has been a godsend in that department. I get monthly reports from her detailing what keywords are being optimized and where the website ranks with those keywords. They also pursue new keywords every month that I didn’t even consider. In the last report, my website ranked #1 in 42 keywords and is in the top five positions for 72 keywords. That’s amazing!Julia is also VERY responsive to my questions and concerns. If something needs to be done, she jumps on it right away. There have been a few tweaks here and there on the website, and she is able to do that herself. Also, she is a great sounding board when I come up with an idea that may or may not work on the website, and we talk it through to see if that idea will work for what I am trying to accomplish. I am so glad that Julia is my account manager because she has simply been amazing to work with.If you are a business owner, I can’t recommend SharpNET enough for your website design and SEO needs. We first met with Adam at SEO Idaho about a year and a half ago to discuss a potential SEO contract. Adam was candid with the realities we'd be up against given our line of work, and the fact that our SEO results would be hard-pressed to compare with other clients in 'normal' industries. He basically tried to talk us out of it for the sake of not wanting to take our money without having the utmost confidence in return potential. Meanwhile, other SEO providers we met with gave unrealistic sales pitches as if they just wanted our money - results be damned. Fast forward and we're now in our second year under contract with SEO Idaho. They've worked hard to overcome our limitations and the increased traffic over time has exceeded all expectations. 5 stars.
