It was a huge task not least because there were already close to 100 destinations to integrate into a usable global site. But also because the site was meant to live up to the beauty and aesthetic of the television program. And it needed to be done in a way that satisfied both our mainstream luxury advertisers (like LandRover, ANA, and more) but also the famously high standards of Bourdain himself. ANML engaged in this 18-month design and build process with outstanding workmanship and creative decision-making. They navigated wildly different and demanding stakeholders. And in the end they built a site that still looks fresh even nearly a decade later. If you want to make lasting work, there is no one else I could recommend more.

We were quoted a completion time of 1.5 weeks in writing by the founder / managing director. We paid a deposit of half the total cost of the works. At the beginning of June 2024, the work had still not been completed, as a result, I was instructed to terminate the project with them. A different provider was engaged to complete the project, who did so within 48 hours. On the basis of the delayed works and additional expense of securing another provider, the balance payment to them was denied. Fluid Orange then proceeded to post several reviews about our client to add insult to injury. I quote from their review "The customer, however, quickly altered course and asked for a design that echoed the aesthetics of the early 2000s." The undercurrent of this statement suggests that there was something "wrong" with the requested design, and may indicate the reason that this firm did not complete the works... Their attitude towards the brief and public berating of their customer's requirements was the first I had ever encountered of this kind. Be warned.
