Recommend staying away from this firm. I am a small business and figured I would take a chance on this firm based on the Google reviews. Dropped off our paperwork with ample time. Missed deadlines. Poor communication. Sent us a substantial surprise bill after providing us nothing. This is not the firm for you. I hope our disappointment and delays described in this review helps others from making the same mistake we did. If you never received the documents what is the 4500 dollar bill for to do my taxes?

Just had the MOST unfriendly and rude call back from Norman Blatner. I called this office earlier today explaining that I was looking to hire a CPA to help me with NYS tax questions.I received a call back from Norman Blatner well after 5pm. He seemed to have misunderstood what exactly I needed help with and very rudely told me that he would not be able to help me and he was "just calling as a courtesy to let me know to remove his contact info from my list of people who could help me". When I tried to explain what it was that I actually needed he kept cutting me off and re-stating that he was just calling to tell me that he couldn't help me. He spoke very fast and wouldn't let me get a word in edgewise. His tone was rude and dismissive. He definitely is not anyone I would want to do business with. I don't know if he treats everyone like trash or if I was just the unfortunate victim of him today. I do not recommend anyone reach out to this guy for your CPA needs. Do better Blatner & Mineo CPA PC!!!!!

Takes absolutely forever. No one to follow up to make sure all members of your “team“ are moving as they should. You can’t just call and get somebody on the phone. You have to schedule a time with them which could sometimes be months only for them to tell you they’re missing paperwork, Or “I’m not sure that’s not my department” or in my case, oh your person is no longer with the company. I have to reassign you to a new person! I had two months of business tax paperwork to combine with my personal tax paperwork and here it is August 2025 and those are still not done!! As a new business owner, I thought I was doing the right thing by hiring a team because I knew I had no business messing around with any numbers, but I have been so stressed out and Creating more work for myself after hiring them, then I would have with any other company. Don’t make the same mistake I did! stay away!
