Creative Repute

The Colored Girls Museum has now worked with Creative Repute Design Agency on several high visibility projects . Including Custom Wallpaper designed by Nile Livingston which took center stage at Philadelphia Airport backing our installation (Sit A Spell ) which was on view for nine months. The inspiration for the wallpaper came from Niles postcard design for our show The One Room Schoolhouse . We loved the design so much we created other merch around it . At present the wallpaper can be seen at The Colored Girls Museum in the Colored Boys Room. Most recently Creative Repute turned around the poster appearing soon at Mother Bethel which is the kick off location for The Tribute to The 7th Ward Legacy Reclaimed . Walking Tour . The team at Creative Repute has remained consistently responsive and patient as we all adjust to the changes happening in the world due to Covid-19. They creatively redesigned our Save-The-Date to accommodate a virtual event because we are unsure about when people will feel comfortable meeting face to face again. The logo I sought to create drew both on personal heritage and an especially idiosyncratic aesthetic inspired by the 90's in general and black culture in particular. Creative Repute provided me with a great baseline of initial designs, revised my favorite according to my exact tastes, and did so while feeding me new ideas along the way.
