Celect Studios is not as advertised at all. Stay clear or lose all your money and work diligently to get your money back. Project is 8 months past deadline and no end in site. On our 3rd Developer. The the Developers tell you fake names. American names. But I got an invite from IOS platform for them to upload the “Competed Build” that NEVER HAPPENED but his name was Muhammad. Not Frank. I knew it was a lie after the first developer. But we were already paid in full. They always want more money and never produce results. They want you to sue. They will never honor their contracts. We lost over 30k and counting and they will NEVER EVER RESPOND. Legal is non existent. Once they get you the “Alpha Build” and solidify the last payment the company disappears. No more calls. No updates. No ZOOM CALLS. No Google Meets. Just missed deadlines and some text messages promising completion but NEVER anything in writing after you have made your payments. Finally, when you ask for what you’ve paid for “i.e Source Code”, they only send it AFTER you sign a contract to give up every single liability and deny all refunds. They are a SCAM. 1 star is 5 stars too much. They are going to rob you without a gun.DONT ever send a DOLLAR for hosting and maintenance. DONT do it.

A Nightmare Experience - Avoid at All Costs I had high hopes when I started working with Celect Studios, but my experience turned out to be nothing short of a nightmare. What was initially promised to be a 4-month project has now dragged on for two years, and we have absolutely nothing to show for it. From the very beginning, it was clear that this company has no regard for industry best practices in programming and the structural development of mobile applications. If you're looking for a professional, reliable partner for mobile app development, this is not the company for you. Their work lacks quality, and the final product is far from functional or complete. Throughout the process, I went through four different project managers, none of whom had any idea what they were doing. Each time a new one was assigned, we had to start from scratch, and the confusion only grew. They all seemed to be passing the blame around while accomplishing nothing. But the worst part? The contracts. We had two broken contracts during this ordeal, and getting any response from their so-called legal department was like playing a cat and mouse game. The "legal department" wasn’t a department at all—it was just a wall of silence and evasion. When our "project manager" suggested we contact legal for a refund due to the contract breaches, our request was flat-out denied. They missed every single deadline, broke every promise, yet had no trouble taking our payments when it was time to move to the "next phase" of the project. At this point, I’ve even filed a complaint with the Texas Attorney General because I truly feel scammed. However, I’m not sure that will amount to much considering how this company has handled everything else. In short, I strongly advise against doing any kind of business with Celect Studios. They are all about getting you in the door and taking your money, and when you try to hold them accountable, they just ignore you or waste more of your time. There are far more professional and reliable companies out there who actually care about delivering quality results and customer satisfaction. Even a one-star review is way too generous at this point.

We hired flexsin technologies to build software for us in July 2022. They agreed to sign NDAs and all relevant paperwork. They prepared the NDA as they preferred it and sent it to us for review and signature. We reviewed the NDA and changed the Jurisdiction to UK and sent it back to them for a signature which they delayed in signing up to date. After they reviewed everything, they gave us an estimation of USD 17,000. They sent us a contract with upper price cap stating that any extra activities and costs incurred above the agreed upper price cap will be their responsibility and we as the client will have to pay nothing extra. They estimated the project will take 12-14 weeks. They started the project and assured us the NDA and Contract is getting sorted and they will send it over as soon as. Long story short flexsin Technology never honoured the contract and the price cap as the price started increasing past the price cap. It is now been 8 months since they started the project and they have not signed the NDA nor the Contract as agreed. We noticed they misspelt the names on the NDA and Contract. We asked them to rectify the spelling mistakes and they have refused asking us to Change the NDA that they wrote themselves to meet their interests. They are asking us to include on the NDA that UPwork will resolve disputes in relation to incorrect spellings on the paperwork and the NDA as if they are planning to make more mistakes. Up work is just a platform that brings developers and clients together, UPwork does not resolve spelling mistakes and unsigned paperwork. UPwork is NOT developing our software for us, we did NOT share the software information with UPwork, we shared information with Flexsins Technologies and above all Up work did NOT misspell or fail to sign the NDA or Contract, that was Flexsins Technologies mistakes to fix and NOT UPwork mistakes to fix. They are now asking to write another contract for more money probably with another price cap just to lure. They have agreed to send the assets back to us immediately. It's the place where I experienced the worst stress. I believed the story of not being good at working there. The agency is a slave driver, working from 0 to 10, as far as I knew, in 2022. It exceeded my limits as a person, but not as a worker, because now I know I'm very good at my current job, where they value every minute I give them. If you're toxic and love working from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., this place is for you. Of course, with the help of chat gpt, you're already on the other side today in 2024, but think twice and do your research on horror agencies. It's the worst thing that has happened to me in my professional career. Definitely a stain I'll never be able to remove from my CV.

We had a great initial project with Ameex before they were purchased by Perficient. Post-support was slow, but acceptable, however as time went on, I stopped getting the level of communication and time itemization I was accustomed to. With Perficient taking over, things devolved pretty quickly, and despite multiple conversations with my account manager - nothing changed, even after bumping up hours to have more dedicated resources. Ultimately, I cancelled the contract this year. Disappointing because their team/work was stellar (and the development team is still solid) before, but the simple asks were continually ignored, and over time, I lost trust that I was getting the hours agreed upon. Towards the end, there was also what felt like a lot of gaslighting of my concerns, and outside of an initial project, I cannot recommend Perficient for ongoing support. Edit: I'm now bumping this to a 1 Star because I've spent the last 3 weeks digging into code and it's one questionable decision after another. Really poor.
