I've worked with many different programs and services to create and maintain web sites since my first HTML site in the late 90s. An everchanging thing, it was difficult to keep up with all the new technologies. Web sites became my least favorite aspect of marketing because everything became so tedious. Linking up with Ruby Shore was the best decision I could have made. When I explained to them my disdain for Wordpress, they happily introduced me to their new system, Waves. Whoa. Surf's up, internetters! Waves is where it's at. I finally was able to create a site exactly the way I imagined it. I didn't run into any of the problems that frustrated me in years past using other services, and it didn't take me long before I was humming along to realize my vision. I want a thing. Merit Productions is truly top notch. I've used them for severl professional projects over the years as well as a personal photo shoot for my daughter with Scott. Professionally, they deliver outstanding work and always on time. While I am likely not their biggest client based on their online portfolio (like whoa! They do some big name business.), they always make me feel like we are. The studio sessions with Scott are also really amazing and he has always made my daughter feel very comfortable. Films by Farallon was excellent to work with from start to finish. Their communication was clear and timely throughout the pre-production process, and they executed exactly to spec on shoot day. We filmed a one-person, direct-to-camera interview on a chroma blue screen, with both boom and lav audio, and they also captured a variety of beautiful b-roll shots around the office. Everything was delivered as unedited 4K ProRes 422HQ footage, perfectly organized and ready for post.
