CSI Accounting may try to spin this by saying they offered me a new accountant or that taking onboarding fees from my account—after our relationship was terminated—was warranted. It was not.The truth: I received no tax advice, no business guidance, and no real onboarding. The only thing they provided was payroll, which I paid for separately. My assigned tax person came to our meeting without reviewing my file, admitted to being new to the systems, and openly struggled to use them.Charging me for this is indefensible. Withholding services, then helping themselves to my business account after termination, destroyed any trust. Whatever they claim, the fact is simple: I paid for services I never received.I hired CSI Accounting to support my business with the expectation of receiving high-quality service based on their confident promises. Unfortunately, the experience was deeply disappointing. Despite the strong sales pitch, they failed to deliver on key aspects of their service.When I raised concerns and requested a fair negotiation regarding payment for services that were never rendered, they abruptly ended our relationship “effective immediately.” I then began formally disputing those charges through my American Express account. Rather than respond to the dispute in good faith or allow the process to play out, CSI took an entirely inappropriate step: they bypassed the dispute process and directly accessed my business checking account—without my consent—to withdraw the same funds.This withdrawal occurred more than a week after our business relationship had already been terminated and without any form of authorization from me. I did not give permission for this transaction, and their actions represent a serious breach of both trust and professional ethics.

Had a terrible experience with Gheen & Co. They managed our books and taxes for a few years. From the beginning the communication was spotty, they never answer the phone and get back to emails at a snails pace. On top of that they missed $40,000 in taxes we owed and never alerted us it was due. We had to hire a third party book keeper and it took them months to fix the mess they made in our quickbooks. After canceling with them they sent us a bill for our 2023 tax filing with was completed looong time ago.

I have been using RKKM for years for my taxes and have been very happy with them. This year has been different. Though I had my information there on 3/3 and met with Bruce on 3/10, a month later I still have no information on my return or how much I owe. He indicated it was " probably a standard return". A phone call from me a month later revealed that they were e-mailing a question to an incorrect address. When they got no response for 2 weeks, they did not try a phone number. Someone other than Bruce was doing my return and did not have the information given to Bruce on the 10th of March. Seems their recent merger adversely effected their communications. In a week I have to mail in my return. I still do not know if I owe $6, $600 or $6000.

We tried their services for few months and found them to be very unprofessional and unethical. There is no transparency in billing. Initially they will do marketing gimmicks and come up with amazing pricing structure which is hard to believe and then once you enter into contract, they will show the true pricing which is very expensive. Steve chased me to move my books over from my previous accountant, then delivered the opposite of what he promised. He told me he'd lodge my BAS as nil and fix it later, then deliberately didn't lodge it until I asked him about it and it was too late and I got fined — in his own words, "If I lodge a nil you'll lag around like you have been… Now you'll actually get me your info." When I asked why, he flipped out and got hostile, and made it my fault for even asking. He also let my 2024–2025 tax return sit until it was nearly a year overdue, then two weeks before the deadline fobbed me off to H&R Block — after being the one who talked me into switching to him in the first place. Unprofessional and takes it out on you the moment you question him. Avoid.
