- Project Brief: Redesign LAB Medical Manufacturing’s website with a responsive WordPress CMS, customized functionality, and clearer navigation for its medical manufacturing services.
Who reads a medical and pharmacy website? A procurement lead checking precision and a buyer checking compliance, and GoingClear designed LAB Medical to satisfy both with a clean clinical site as exact as the instruments it sells.
The homepage leads with close-up photography of the instruments themselves. Chrome tools laid on white sit beside a plain claim of more than 40 years in the field, so the first impression is the product, not a stock operating room.
Certifications sit high on the page where a medical buyer looks first. ISO 13485:2016 and an FDA registration number appear near the hero, which answers the compliance question before the sales pitch starts.
The capability section splits the work into four specialty tiles that light up on hover. Sports medicine, dental, spinal, and orthopedics each open on interaction, so a buyer clicks straight to their field instead of scrolling a wall of copy.
Lead capture runs through a custom Request a Quote form built as a pop-up. It carries capability checkboxes, a file upload for drawings, and contact preferences, so an engineer sends a real spec without leaving the page.
A vertical Request a Quote tab rides the edge of every page. The prompt stays in reach as a buyer moves through manufacturing, quality, and engineering, so the next step is never more than one click away.
The careers page organizes openings into an accordion of expandable roles. Each listing unfolds its own bullets and fields on click, so a long roster stays short until a candidate wants detail.
The build underneath runs on a lean WordPress instance on Advanced Custom Fields. GoingClear kept the plugin count low and the fields custom, so LAB Medical's team edits content without breaking layout or waiting on a developer.
The imagery comes from a commissioned shoot rather than stock libraries. A photographer captured the tools, the floor, and the measurement work, so the site looks like LAB Medical and not a template.
The layout holds together down to a phone screen. Optimized images and a sticky header keep it quick to load and navigable on mobile, where a sourcing manager often checks a vendor first.
Restraint is the real achievement here. The site makes a niche contract manufacturer look precise, certified, and easy to brief, which is most of what a medical buyer needs before the first call.
