Absolute crap company, I'm currently filing a lawsuit against them for defamation because they like to tamper with things on the website and are resentful little children. RUN AWAY from this company! Supposedly located in California. They sold me a package to design the branding, website, and social media for my company for $1500.00. "EVERYTHING" for $1500.00. Have paid over $6000.00 and I have NO control over the material I paid for. They send you everything in formats you cannot use or convert. They want to keep a hold of you to keep asking for money!!!!!! NEVER send anything to print through them!!! Ordered some business cards and brochures and have never received the brochures. To this day I have not received a single invoice or receipt of anything of what I have paid, including the design of the logo, the purchase of the domain and many other things. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I believe this company is a criminal enterprise. They are also known as Creative Company and Sketch Profs. Creative Company made a $2,500 unauthorized withdrawal from my checking account. When I protested the transaction, Uptown Logo Design provided a fake receipt, fake transaction and activity logs and fake emails supporting the charge to my account. It was an elaborate and thorough fraud. I'm sure they've used similar fabricated documents before with other people they've ripped off. I reported them to the FTC and FBI.

Flowty is a blockchain-based platform providing various transaction services around NFTs. K-Optional wears many hats in support of Flowty including Front End, Back End, business strategy, SEO and more. The K-Optional team has been incredible to work with. They are proactive, supportive, smart, thoughtful and, most importantly, fit seamlessly into our team and company culture. To put it succinctly, we tried to hire them full-time...and then tried to buy their company to acqui-hire them. Some of their strengths include: reliability, responsiveness and creativity. There are many groups out there that can perform some version of the work we are looking for. There are not many groups that are responsive at all hours of the day, deliver consistently and able to present data-backed business strategies.

Working with the guys at Espresso Moon (Scott, Doug, Tim and Dwayne) was truly a great collaboration and experience. They didn't just throw a website together for us, they helped us to reinvent ourselves. They go out of their way to get to know you and your business to the fullest extent, and that is a quality that is not often seen. If I were to recommend a web design/hosting company to anyone, Espresso Moon would be the one and only name I give. Thank you for your service and support!

I worked primarily with Scott, Tim and Doug to build a fairly complicated site: Paypal/credit card payments, video training modules, a graded quiz, and issuance of a completion certificate. They were the only website company that invited me to an in-person meeting and that was tremendously helpful in me understanding how they work and them understanding my goals. Large Animal Consulting & Education launched 2 days ago and the site is running smoothly. I'm very happy with the site they designed (they also designed my logos) and am looking forward to using them to support and add to the site down the road.

Doug Wheeler is the owner of Espresso Moon and he has provided my small business excellent IT technical support for our website. His team helped me out by removing malicious code that was affecting my site right after the Heart Bleed epidemic last year. He got my site back up and running so i could continue business and save my online reputation. I would recommend Espresso Moon LLC to anyone in need of a new website or mobile application because they follow through with what they promise to do, on time and on budget. They are truly a pleasure to work with!

iPhone App Development Company Hiring Guide

What is an iPhone app development company?

An iPhone app development company specializes in building high-quality, custom iOS applications for Apple devices, including iPhones, iPads, Apple Watch, and Apple TV. These companies leverage tools and programming languages such as Swift, Objective-C, and Xcode to create seamless native mobile experiences.

An iPhone app development company can develop the following:

  • Native iOS apps: Designed exclusively for iOS, offering optimal performance and user experience. Swift enables faster, more efficient development compared to Android.
  • Hybrid apps: Built to run on multiple platforms, offering broader reach at the cost of native optimization and depth of features.

As Apple's product lineup diversifies, iOS app developers deliver apps for iPhones, iPads, Apple Watch, and Apple TV.

What do iPhone app development companies do?

iPhone app development companies use the latest technologies to build high-performing, secure iOS applications. They deploy the product in production and submit it to the App Store, ensuring it meets Apple's guidelines and aligns with user preferences for look and feel, ease of use, and performance.

An iPhone app development company also helps with:

  • Concept ideation and strategic planning
  • UI/UX design tailored for iOS
  • Native and hybrid app development
  • Backend setup and API integration
  • QA testing and debugging
  • App Store deployment and compliance
  • Ongoing support and maintenance

How much does it cost to develop an app for iOS?

Developing an app for iOS costs $10,000 to over $500,000. On average, businesses spend around $50,000 to launch a reliable iOS app.

Factors that impact these costs are:

  • App's level of complexity
  • Backend configuration and administration
  • The company's experience and team size
  • Time needed to develop the app from scratch

The following table breaks the total cost estimates down based on complexity and timeframe:

App complexity  Cost  Timeframe
Simple app  $10,000 to $60,000  2 to 4 months
Medium-complexity app  $60,000 to $100,000  4 to 6 months
Complex app  $100,000 to $500,000+  9+ months

[Source: SPD Load]

iPhone app development companies typically charge on an hourly basis. They calculate development costs by multiplying the number of hours required to develop each feature by the hourly rate for the development team.

Here are the average hourly rates for the individual roles in an iPhone developer team:

Role Average hourly rate
iOS app developer  $50 to $100
UI/UX designer  $20 to $50
Project manager  $50 to $150
QA engineer  $30 to $80

How long does it take to make an iPhone app?

Building an iPhone app can take three to nine months, depending on its complexity and features. For a clearer perspective, here are estimated timeframes for iOS app development:

Simple apps  Medium-complexity apps  Complex apps
Requirement analysis and planning  1-2 weeks  2-3 weeks  3-4 weeks
Wireframing  1-2 weeks  2-3 weeks  3-5 weeks
UI/UX design  2-3 weeks  5-6 weeks  9-10 weeks
Development  6-7 weeks  14-15 weeks  20-22 weeks
QA and deployment  1 week  2 weeks  3 weeks
Total  11-15 weeks / 2-4 months  25-29 weeks / 5-7 months  32-44 weeks / 7-10 months

Why should I hire trustworthy iOS app developers?

These are the top three reasons to hire an iPhone app development company:

1. Keep sensitive data secure

Partnering with a professional iPhone app development company will ensure the highest level of security for your app and keep your data safe from external threats.

2. Enhance customer experience

iOS app developers can help increase user engagement and retention by:

  • Using push notifications properly
  • Running retargeted advertisements
  • Sending in-app personalized messages
  • Leveraging machine learning (ML) for recommendations

3. Generate higher app revenue

iPhone applications drive a high return on investment (ROI) from in-app purchases, subscriptions, and premium games. Professional iOS development leverages the latest trends and technologies to deliver the best user experience.

Success story

Fullestop developed a multilingual iOS app featuring real-time tracking, secure payments, and an intuitive UI.  It also developed the app in English and Arabic to eliminate language barriers. The app scaled to 5,000+ orders post-launch and projected 30,000+ in its first month.

How do I hire a trusted iPhone app developer?

Follow these steps when hiring a reliable iPhone app developer:

  1. Define your requirements and assess your budget. This is also where you decide on whether you need a native or a hybrid application.
  2. Research and compare the top iOS app development companies.
  3. Read and verify client reviews, ratings, and recommendations. You can also ask your network about the companies you've researched.
  4. Look at their portfolios and check for projects within your domain. Evaluate the stages of their design process: wireframing, concepts, storyboards, prototyping, and others.
  5. Ask about their approach to UI/UX design. Examine their development process, methodologies, tools, iOS software development kit (SDK), and proficiency in Swift and Objective-C programming languages, frameworks, and databases.
  6. Check whether they provide a full cycle of iOS app development services, including research and market analysis, API development and integration, testing, and post-release support and maintenance.
  7. Select up to five candidates from your list. Send them a request for proposal (RFP) and ask for price estimates with a breakdown.
  8. Receive and review proposals. Arrange interviews to get to know the teams that developed the proposals.
  9. Decide based on your evaluations, and examine the contract before entering into an agreement.
