The initial bid was the lower of the two received and Simone still came in under budget. She accomplished the work well within the required time frame. She showed me how similar features in GoDaddy were replicated in the Wix builder. The website has intentional embedded errors. Simone understood from the first meeting that this was not a typical request and was able to replicate all under Wix. I appreciated her offer of additional improvement suggestions, such as Search Engine Optimization for the site. In this case, being a sandbox that has no goods to sell, it was not a requirement. Simone got the optional reCAPTCHA feature added which was the cherry on top of the the pie for me. Highly recommended. There are those you meet and then there are those who hold dear. When I first met Lennie at Cider House Media, I took him for the former. I learned about the interplay between customers reviews and search engine optimization, SEO for newbies; the perils of a too-long company name for my sites address and staffs email handles (e.g., cwgw@ versus commonwealthgrantworks@), widgets for enabling my website for sensory-friendliness, and what GoDaddy could promise and take away (e.g. domain name protection when using the word grants and everyone else suddenly wants one). But Lennie went steps further. He showed up at my grand opening event in Noho, when I thought nobody would, working the room with his easy-going and heartfelt style.
