Extremely Disappointing Experience with Acuity Bookkeeping and Accounting Services I hired Acuity to help with bookkeeping and accounting, but the results were frustrating and unprofessional. Instead of properly categorizing transactions and providing accurate reports, almost everything was labeled as "uncategorized," making the books completely unreliable. They set up several automated apps that required me to pay extra subscription fees. None of these tools integrated correctly, and they only made the situation more confusing. Rather than helping me gain financial clarity, their system created more problems and wasted both time and money. I was hoping for experienced support and clean financial records, but what I received was a disorganized mess. I would not recommend Acuity to anyone looking for dependable accounting services.

Wells Coleman & Co is the absolute best, and here's why: The first time I walked into the Wells Coleman & Co offices, it was 2009 and my mother had just passed away. My broker had recommended them to me and that was the best thing to ever happen to me. Being such an emotional time in my life, they were quick to explain everything very thoroughly to me no matter how many times I needed to be reminded of the steps I needed to take. They were the perfect teachers, the perfect caring company, honest in every way, and had the patience of Job with me. Now it's 6 years later, and I still wouldn't trade them for the world. When you sign up with the CFO group they will give you a Menu of services for the year with costs. They also give you a welcome packet with fine print that says if they feel the need to do additional work for you they will do it and bill you (automatic withdrawl.) We were billed for additional services we did not authorize. Our friends who also use the service were also billed for additional work. Stay clear of them unless you want surprise fees.
