I wasn’t going to say anything, but this place is so out of touch. For a juneteenth celebration the white lady who works there thought a picture of fried chicken with the words freedom would’ve been a good/acceptable ad campaign for a business I work closely with. We are currently working with Nimaroh to do a full redesign of our branding and website. The experience has been an awesome one so far. Here is one of our experiences that highlights who Nimaroh is most. After a first pass of our website redesign we liked the attempt but not fully. We gave very precise and clear direction on what we didn't like and would like to see different. A week later we were set to meet to see the updates and I was nervous about what we would see and that the edits would miss the mark.....BOOM absolutely blow away by the updates. The feedback was carefully listened to and iterations were made in a way that showed they listen to their customers but also know what they were doing. I will say I trusted them from the beginning but after this I had no doubt in their ability and professionalism. The final thing I will say is I don't know how many projects or customers Nimaroh currently has ( I am sure its lots) but every time we interact it feels like we are their only customer and priority. Writers, Proceed with Caution Based on my personal experience, I would strongly advise fellow writers to be cautious before engaging with this company. I was charged premium rates for marketing services that ultimately proved ineffective. Most of the promotional materials—including AI-generated images—bore no relevance to the actual content of my anthology, and I ended up having to write or revise much of the marketing myself. What concerned me most, however, was discovering that blog posts referencing my book were appearing alongside links to websites of an explicit or potentially malicious nature. I requested my pen name be removed from these sites, but received no cooperation. After escalating the issue, I was refunded—only after strongly insisting on a resolution. However, when my attorney attempted to serve the company with a formal request to remove remaining online references to my work, the business address listed on their website proved invalid and the documents were returned as undeliverable. This made further legal follow-up nearly impossible. Communication was inconsistent, and at times I felt that the team members used aliases or were not fully transparent about their roles. The entire situation left me disappointed and deeply frustrated. Although I did recover my funds, my pen name remains associated online with material I did not authorize, and I have no reliable means of having it removed. I hope my experience helps others make informed decisions.
