I hired 5Gear Studios for a corporate event we hosted in June. From the very beginning, they were great to work with. Darren took the time to meet with me and discuss in detail what we wanted. They do a great job of catching moments without being in the way or being obnoxious. Unfortunately we did have a snag, it was one of the hottest days of the year and our venue lost power so we were evacuated from the building -- the filming team followed us to a second location and continued to film, rolling with the punches without hesitation. They were amazing to work with. I have only seen a draft of our sizzle reel so far but I am impressed with the turn around time and the quality of the reel. Overall, I highly recommend 5Gear for any videography needs.

I am a tenured professor of ceramics at the University of North Florida. A while back, Frank from Mighty Fine Production Company, assisted me in shooting a documentary in China based on a grant to document one of the last few artists who fires a dragon kiln. Images of the production can be seen in the accompanying photos. This artist used a hand-building technique that is becoming a lost art form. We had to do a lot of planning because China was difficult to navigate, and we had more video equipment than we could carry. Frank made the production process easy from beginning to end. He taught me how to be his second camera guy for which he programmed all the settings for the two-camera interview. It was an excellent experience, and everything turned out perfectly.

Worst company I've ever works with awful. I would give them negative -100 if I could. Unfortunately google forces me to give a 1 star. I feel compelled to share my unfortunate experience with Visual Design Inc. to warn others who might be considering their services. Despite their professional demeanor during initial communications, their actions did not align with their promises, and the end result was highly disappointing. I initially paid them $10,000 for a project they assured me would be completed in a reasonable timeframe. However, over the course of a year, I was shuffled between different team members, and the project saw little to no significant progress. Their professional facade had nothing to do with delivering actual results. The delays and lack of accountability forced me to hire another company to pick up the slack, costing me an additional $3,000–$5,000 to get the project back on track. Moreover, due to their delays, I had to pay for AWS RDS Extended Support for an extra six months, incurring further unplanned expenses. In total, I ended up spending thousands more than anticipated, with a great deal of time wasted. I strongly advise staying away from Visual Design Inc. Their initial professionalism does not translate into fulfilling their commitments, and based on my experience, they may not deliver on their promises. We are still thinking about taking legal action.
