Disappointing and Unprofessional Experience with Zoe I had a very frustrating experience working with Zoe from Square one. I followed up multiple times to ask for feedback or any updates on the status of my interview, but despite my persistence, I never received any response. It's incredibly unprofessional to leave candidates hanging without any communication, especially when they spent time in the process. I understand that not every opportunity works out, but basic courtesy and respect would have been appreciated. I would not recommend working with this recruiter if you're looking for a professional and communicative process.

My experience with Charlie, a recruitment agent from Square One Resources, was extremely disappointing and frustrating. He initially assured me that I was one of only two candidates for a role, praising my qualifications and encouraging me to invest significant time in the process, including completing a five-day task assignment. However, a few weeks after submitting the assignment, Charlie completely ghosted me, despite promising to follow up. I only received an update from the company's HR, who informed me they had chosen another candidate with more experience in social media and community management—something Charlie never mentioned. His delays and lack of communication were not only unprofessional but also a significant waste of my time. Charlie’s false promises and disregard for transparency have left me deeply dissatisfied and cautious about trusting recruiters in the future. The facility recruited me, I applied with ifg. The facility became very frustrated because my schedule was never confirmed. And the nurse manager had to look me herself. I constantly contacted the recruiter for IFG. She never gave me a schedule. I informed HR and requested a new representative. Both HR and the recruiter ghosted me. Neither one responded with any type of resolution Outside of the facility that recruited me the ifg representative never called me for any shifts. Medical facilities are in dire needs for staff. Facilities if you need nurses please try another company. Nurses if you need flexible income try another company. Either way it goes it's the patient that really needs the service. Poor communication. No communication. Not a good source for nurses or facilities.

The recruiter I talked to (Rashmi Tarale) was just about to submit me for consideration in a job (AFTER having gone through my entire resume with me), then proceeds to ask me about how much experience I have in the field overall. When she wasn't happy with my reply, she HUNG UP on me mid-conversation, and I haven't heard from anyone at Akraya since. Don't waste any of your time talking to these people, and don't risk giving your information to this scam of a firm.

I was promised a modest financial gesture to offset the hardship of leaving my job based on their word — that, too, has yet to be fulfilled. I’ve lost income, stability, and viable opportunities during this process, and I would not want any other professional to go through the same. Some individual staff members (like Theo and Abhishek) were communicative and made an effort, but the agency as a whole was disorganized, opaque, and unreliable. I strongly encourage others to vet this agency thoroughly before making any career decisions based on their offers. Your time, livelihood, and trust are too valuable. UPDATE: Since posting my original review, I’ve learned that my situation was unusual, and Vbeyond did work with me to get things moving. Some staff members, like Theo and Abhishek, were communicative and supportive, and I was able to negotiate a few things outside my original contract. In the end, I completed the assignment successfully, and I appreciate that they stuck with me through the process.

I was contacted by one of Hire Better's recruiters for a position and after speaking with him, was asked to complete a personality profile and a writing sample so that I could be presented to his client. I never heard from him again and was contacted via email by an unknown person to send in a signed agreement. Again, crickets. Even though I may not have been a fit for the position, I think a simple follow-up email would have been appropriate. I sent personal information and communicated with the recruiter with the utmost of professionalism and respect. Trusting a stranger in the recruiting process is challenging enough without the additional sting of unreciprocated professionalism and respect.
