Working with Insperity has been very frustrating for me as others have said. As a service provider, I am bothered by the lack of communication, the very slow responses, only communicating over email. No one is available by phone. They have deducted money from my income, without warning or due process, for benefit changes. They have made no attempt to aid me in correcting a mistake on a misleading form and they have sent screen shots of legal documents instead of treating me like a human and simply listening to, and making an attempt to assist their customer.

This company is definitely not an Equal Opportunity Employer! If I was able to rate this company Zero Stars I definitely would. To start off, they had me interview for a remote position based in customer service without even having a proper start date. When ever I inquired about the start date, they would never give me a clear answer. After interviewing with them and being told verbally that they wanted to proceed with me, they never extended an official job offer with terms and conditions of the position I would be working. They wanted me to undergo there background screening process before accepting an actual offer. When I decided to proceed, my background check was put on hold because they didn’t have an official start date. Why interview applicants if you don’t have a start date?! It has been several days of me waiting for a response regarding my background and they just now emailed me a load of nonsense. I understand that there are discrepancies on my background because of bad decisions I made in the past when I was 18 years old but that does not mean that I can’t have the opportunity to make a living. I honestly feel that they should give me the opportunity to provide a personal statement and not just automatically disqualify me without giving me a proper chance. Insperity, you just lost a great future employee because of your disgusting hiring standards!

I was contacted by one of Hire Better's recruiters for a position and after speaking with him, was asked to complete a personality profile and a writing sample so that I could be presented to his client. I never heard from him again and was contacted via email by an unknown person to send in a signed agreement. Again, crickets. Even though I may not have been a fit for the position, I think a simple follow-up email would have been appropriate. I sent personal information and communicated with the recruiter with the utmost of professionalism and respect. Trusting a stranger in the recruiting process is challenging enough without the additional sting of unreciprocated professionalism and respect.

I reached out to HireBetter on a recommendation from a business friend to help me find a new C-level opportunity. Connecting with them turned into one of my best experiences so far this year! The team of Kurt, Francisco, Tyler, Doug, Alisha, Robert, Kelli, Jill all took time to reach out, understand what I was looking for and offer their help. Keep in mind, HireBetter does not work for job seekers, they represent their client companies. Still, they made me feel like a part of their family. Over a several month period they went far outside of what I would expect from a regular search firm, by including me and other job seekers in weekly LinkedIn communication and networking events and making numerous job and networking introductions. I wouldn't hesitate to refer my closest family or friends to them. I expect to forever be connected with them.

I worked with the staff at HireBetter after seeing a job that they had posted and were trying to fill. My experience with all the staff and this company could not have been better. I worked with Gabriela Mallow, Abbie Martin and Stacey Beer. They helped me get a wonderful job and they were all an absolute pleasure to work with. They made me feel like a part of the family. They are so professional and personable and I wouldn't hesitate to refer my closest family or friends to them. If I do, I know that they would be well taken care of. I contacted Acrux Staffing (4560 Great Oak Dr, North Charleston, SC) for my 2017 W-2. “Federal law requires all employers to send employees W-2 statements no matter how low earnings or wages are. These W-2 statements can be sent in either paper or digital form, and must be received by employees no later than January 31 of the following year. Employers must also file a copy of employee W-2s with the IRS.”

Unprofessional and Outdated Hiring Practices I had a frustrating experience with this company during the interview process. Despite claiming to be reputable, their communication felt aggressive and unprofessional. I was asked to submit my resume in Word format, which was a first for me. I asked for clarity and they became very defensive, insisted it was a standard request, and then instantly rejected me. This was alarming coming from an HR Manger. Overall, it left a bad impression. I believe companies should be open to being asked questions, especially when it comes to something as straightforward as resume formatting. There are plenty of other organizations that approach things in a more professional and respectful way. I wouldn't recommend applying here. Update to response: No, my review accurately reflects my experience with your company. After the way your HR manager treated me, I am no longer interested in moving forward with this role. I recommend treating future candidates with more professionalism and respect. Please consider this my request to end all further communication.

One of the worst places I’ve ever worked. They promise raises and don’t honor them. They will harass you until you hit your breaking point. They’re about to get a lawsuit from me and they won’t even contact me regarding owing me money. I’ve YET to get the rest of my check from them. I was put in for voluntary time off and then wrongfully terminated after that. Then they fired my boss and the rest of her team they’re just the worst places I’ve ever ever ever ever ever known

Worst company I’ve ever worked for! If you’re okay with poor training, high expectations with minimal preparation, and working for free then this is the company for you. They do mass hirings to keep their call que to a minimum then fires all the newly hired employees due to low call volume after only 2 month of working.
