We highly recommend Refuge Marketing - they were able to help us get an action plan together quickly to start generating leads. Although we had been publishing high quality content about 2x week, we were not seeing the same response rate this year and business had slowed quite a bit. We are a small, local business and did not have a huge marketing budget, so we could not afford to hire them as full-time marketing team. Instead of turning us away, they offered us an affordable alternative with the 30-day Marketing program that we could implement ourselves with support from their team. The program taught us that new social media algorithms replaced the old ways of self promotion on social media for our business category, Landscaping (as well as many other service-based businesses) and taught us how to play in the new world. Key to the program was how to engage the audience with actionable content and increase visibility and lead acquisitions through call-to-actions, hooks, gifting information, frequency, timing and platforms. The course additionally provided a a means to get organized, along with way to track and schedule posts. We immediately saw an increase in responsiveness from new and former clients! I met these fine gentlemen after attending a couple of their SEO meetup groups over the course of a few months. Back in February they did an SEO Audit on my website to help me pin point why I was tumbling in the google rankings after a recent google algorithm update. The audit was extremely thorough and contained an easy to follow list of action items. Many of the things I needed to do were pretty simple to correct. It's been just about 6 months since they did an audit and I can report that my impressions are up, my clicks are up and my rankings have climbed from the depths of page 20 into the top 50 or so and improving every week. They primarily work with lawyers but were still able to provide a ton of useful insight to my niche.(photography) These guys are great and are providing far more value than most of the link-farm SEO companies that will get you penalized.

Read this before you commit. This company has caused us a lot of emotional abuse. Unreliable, unprofessional, underdelivering. They have lied in our face so many times. They don't respond to the calls, very slow reply from emails, Arun was our main SEO contact and he denies it and replies sometimes a week later. We paid for building a website and also had a 6 month contract for SEO. Altogether $11150. Biggest mistake in our business history. The website building took 8 months and is full of errors and mistakes, that they didn't care to fix it. With the SEO they promised to write one blog a month ; send a monthly keyword ranking report and give us a full access to the site. They FORGOT to write our blogs for 2 full months, we paid $989/monthly, so $1978 for nothing!! This delayed the whole process of ranking. Came out the rest of the blogs are not with SEO content as we haven't ranked anywhere! So in the end it didn't even matter as we didn't rank anyway. We asked the SEO keywords specifically for pressure washing and they didn't even get this to rank but everything else we didn't ask. They also didn't send us full reports and we didn't have access to the site, also no Google Analytics as promised. We feel totally scammed. That's not even it- when the contract ended, they still charged us $989 and when I asked refund it took them 1 month to refund and 3 days later they took the same amount again! Just unbelievable behaviour from a business that is still existing and loaning people's money. Also, we paid full amount for the website and they said if you pay in full you will receive a 5% off ($156 off ) - they didn't apply the discount!!  One day one of their new employees, Theo, (not knowing I am their exsisting  client) called me and said the website is full of errors and not ranking in Google, I said do you know who I am hosting with, he said no, I said with you guys, this guy got super quiet (see Arun's reply from photos). They just made mistake after mistake, did not care at all but money. I hope Karma does it's job and gets their ass.

I see my previous review was deleted when I called KWD out for illegally acquiring my Activate Tamaki Makaurau funds, then misleading me. I understand you are under new management now and would like to sit down and resolve this as all Adam would do is yell and tell me I was wrong. All these bad reviews cant be wrong right? Once resolved I'll change my review, I lost $6000 total, and my website is crap.

We have had a hard time with KWD. there was little improvement in our organic search ratings after 6 months of investment, and we cancelled with the program allowing for the two month suspension period. They continued to charge us after cancellation, and despite promises to return the money we haven’t seen it. This seems to be standard practice for the company judging by other reviews. I would not recommend engaging KWD as it is expensive and ineffective.
