      NEXA recently changed their platform blocking clients from entering specific times outside of a set schedule. Clients must submit an email of changes, wait for a response, send a reminder email and then find out at 3am that changes were not made correctly. I have now been awake since 3 am (unable to go back to sleep and no opportunity to nap during the day) because NEXA ceased client control of our own schedules and someone failed to do their job properly.when I requested a variation from their blocked times. Prior to this platform change, I would have recommended NEXA. Now, I recommend looking elsewhere.

Overall we are quite pleased. only issue is occasionally when we hand off coverage for the weekend - when the doctor is off call - all the operators somehow do not “get the message.” I do endorse them as a good service, their billing department is responsive - they just need a bit of a tweak in the training of their telephone operators with this “hnd off on weekends.” I would recommend them as reliable and responsive.

We opted not to have calls recorded as their system has an irritating "beep" that sounds in the background while customers are on the phone. We thought things were going well. Several months later we signed up for CallRail, which recorded all incoming calls. We began to see a pattern of poorly handled calls. When we shared this information with management, and offered to provide the recording, they said "no thanks." The probems continued. For instance one caller asked if we did simple Wills. The AnswerFirst agent said, "No, we only do Estate Planning." After sharing these simple issues with management nothing changed. We asked if they could give us an adjustment to our bill based on the poorly handled responses. They said "No." We notified them this week we were switching carriers and they acted like they could care less. DO NOT use them as they cannot handle the simplest of calls.

      DONT SHOP HEREWORST SERVICE WE EVER HAD.THEY ARE THE CHEAPEST AND YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR...They nor picking up on calls, we had our phone company test system..The calls ring 7 times and goes to voicemail..We're basically retired we take certain project maybe 12 calls a month 5 weeks and they have not picked up 1 call as of yet..I should have not even hired them they blamed the phone company after that was disproven they blamed me.Like I was not doing my part to forward the calls.They then said we'll if you cannot help diagnose the problem we will cancel you...I can only say it clearly, the call comes in the call goes to you and gets sent back to our voicemail because you failed to pick up...I can only forward the call answering the call is up to you.These other review must be employees doing review for them..Most people with something bad will not bother writing one we take the time to be sure people know what we had to go thru and warn others.

The workplace culture is cutthroat and demeaning. Supervisors hover like prison guards, scrutinizing every call and nitpicking minor mistakes. Instead of support, you get constant criticism, with the ever-present threat of write-ups or termination if you don’t meet impossible metrics. Favoritism runs rampant, and HR exists only to protect the company—not the employees. Don’t be fooled by empty promises of "career advancement." Promotions are reserved for management’s favorites, while everyone else is stuck in the same dead-end role. Training is minimal, and turnover is sky-high because people either quit from exhaustion or get fired for not meeting unrealistic expectations. In conclusion, Connexus Resource Group is a call center nightmare—a place where employees are treated like cogs in a machine, worked to the bone, and discarded without a second thought. If you value your mental health, dignity, or fair pay, steer clear. There are better jobs out there—this one isn’t worth the suffering.

      I would avoid working here if you can. I worked here for 5 years, and really hated it. Tried to find other work and was unable to for a long time. I ended up quitting because they were going to demote me after being a Team Lead for about 4.5 years. It was really disappointing and heartbreaking, especially since I loved my team of agents. The first couple of years were good, but after a while it just became unbearable. The last campaign I was on, Solutran, literally sucked the life out of me. My supervisor and my agents were great, but I had to fight for my agents to be treated fairly.The company goes by Connexus Resource Group now, they merged with a few other call centers in 2021. One good thing I can say about the merger was we were finally able to get PTO after not having any paid time off at all. The pay here sucks, I was only making $15.50 for being a team lead, and that was only after 5 years of tenure. Most agents were making around $11.50 to $13. It's very hard to get raises here, so if you want to work here and not be compensated properly this might be the right place for you. Avoid this place, it will only ruin your mental health and cause you more suffering.

      DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS SERVICE. I cannot emphasize enough that the pricing and presentation are very misleading. We had a previous answering service that we were paying less than $50 a month for when they solicited our partnership. The representative, Chrissy Lochner, recommended the $99 per month plan with the commitment to review after the first month came in; that NEVER happened. Here we are 3 months and SEVEN THOUSAND DOLLARS later when we were finally able to cancel the services. When I called to speak with the billing department the representative Dianne Archerd, stated she was only in the billing department and would need to switch me over to her customer service department, she placed me on a 40+ minute hold and then the phone went silent. I guess that is their “Customer Service” at its best. Now you know how they came up with $7,000 of over the limit minutes and fees on their billing! They are now sending an outstanding invoice for an additional $1,274. Please do your due diligence before getting into business with this company.

We lost quite a few potential customers in the last week due to "robotic" and emotionless agents who sound like they have no interest in doing their job. When you call in to discuss your business relationship, you find out your relationship manager is whomever answers the phone. Be prepared to discuss everything you expected and implemented when you were sold the plan all over again.

      I would not recommend them unless you like paying for extra services over what it stated in your agreement. I found out they have deviated from my approved template for a long time. They did not have a good reason for why. I am paying $2 a minute for a call agent to ask additional questions over what I have approved. I think we all know why the additional question are being asked. I asked for a credit on my bills since I paid for the additional minutes and surprise!!!, I never heard back from them.

      As a solo-attorney, I was really on the fence about spending money for a 24/7 receptionist like AL provides. But since human connection feels more important today than ever, I decided to give it a try. Chris, their Dir of Sales, provided white-glove service throughout the whole onboarding process and answered every question I asked with specifics. After a two week trial of emails about every missed call, I was hooked. More importantly than me however, are the potential clients and other attorneys who call and speak to an AL agent: they are delighted by their conversations. How do I know? About once a week someone who's trying to get a hold of me lets me know how impressed they are with my answering service and says something like, "I didn't know you hired someone new" or "that person was so kind - nice touch with whoever is answering the phone."This is a good reminder that so long as clients and referral partners are delighted with AL, I can only be delighted with them as well.

      Check around before using this company. You get charged extra for holidays (there is nothing in my contract that says that), there are hidden fees (they will tell you there are none), and their prices are a lot higher than other answering services. You will pay through the nose to cut ties with them. Their customer service is awful. Our customers would wait on hold for long periods of time and when they did answer, they were hard to understand and the call service didn't seem to know what they were supposed to do (even with a written script). I'm sure we lost more than a few jobs because of this. AMTI was once a preferred vendor for our Franchise but they lost that status and now I know why.Edit to AMTI's response: My review stands. There were more than a few occasions that the call service did a lousy job. When we called to find out why, the same excuses were used; we are in a storm situation, we are understaffed, etc. My contract, that I signed in or around 2017 has nothing about the 30 day cancellation. The $61.38 prorated fee was not for actual calls. We had already changed to another approved vendor. It was for their multiple fees and holiday fees (yes, you pay extra for holidays). These are my issues and there are many more franchises that have even more problems with them. It's also the reason AMTI is no longer a Preferred Vendor with our Corporate Office.

      It is very difficult to work with their integration team. They need people that are smarter. We have been using them for years, and every time we need to make an adjustment to the script integration, it turns into a nightmare. Something I can do in less than 30 minutes turns into 4-12 days of them making mistakes and misunderstanding things. There regular team that makes small adjustment not involving the integration are great. If you need integrations into your CRM it is probably best to find another company.
