This service is a scam. the amount of back and forth needed to complete a simple ask eats away at all your "design hours". And the quality of work is at a 5th grade level, even with very specific instructions. Even with quality reviews, there were typos and odd object placements... things that dont look good and good designers dont do. They charged my card when they knew i had no intent to renew. If you can use chatgpt, you do not need this service "

Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the InvestmentI was with Design Pickle for over four years, paying around $3,500 per year for what was advertised as a flat-rate design service. Unfortunately, the pricing kept increasing annually, and the value never matched the cost.One of the biggest issues for me was the creative process. I originally signed up because I struggle with generating design ideas—and that’s exactly where this service fell short. You’re expected to know exactly what you want before they’ll produce anything. If you’re stuck creatively, they don’t really guide you or offer much input.Over the years, despite paying thousands, I ended up with very few usable designs. I take responsibility for not using the service more, but that was largely because it just wasn’t helpful or easy to engage with.My advice: skip the subscription model. Find a local designer who will actually collaborate with you and help bring your vision to life. Design Pickle was a waste of time and money. "

Extremely Disappointed! I signed up for design pickle on a plan that supposedly provides 8 hours of daily design support. Over time I noticed productivity dropped so I tried to check the hours worked on my account. I was actually surprised that there was no client facing time tracking or hourly breakdown at all.When I called in to ask my rep told me the hours were "proprietary" and viewing them couldnt be shared. Despit their pricing being based on hours this raised a red flag.later she scheduled another call just to "show" me the hours worked and all she did was share a google doc she wrote up manually. noy system tracking no transparency. completely unprofessional and borderline fraudulent.to make things worse when I first signed in December, I was transitioning from another agency where I had been working. I was taking the same clients with me, which was a greed upon. But design Pickle refused to start my new account until I paid off a $13,000 balance that the previous agency owed them. I wasn't even the account holder yet I had to pay their balance to contunie using the same service with the same clients because "it would look fraudulent in their system" using the same customers that were on another account with a owed balance. I was just starting my bsuiness and had no chouce but to pay to avoid disruption.after all that they still made me pay my own first month's fee short after. I tried to escalate this and explain the situation to management and c-level execs but nobody cared. Eventually I cancelled and honestly I dont regret it!If you are looking for a professional, transparent service, this is not it. "
