After using HPG as both our business and personal accountants for YEARS, we received a letter in the mail on Christmas Eve (!) stating that, effective immediately, they would no longer be our accountants due to a staffing shortage. There was no warning months or weeks ahead (I assume this staffing issue didn't suddenly arise on December 24), no phone call, no referral to a different accountant, no consideration that year-end taxes and the work therein goes into high gear just 8 days later. Just buhbye.We were not happy with their overpriced yet mediocre service, but it's a real pain to find a new accountant, so we stayed. I guess we can thank them for their lack of any sort of consideration or care towards us, as it forces us to finally find a better fit. "

Yes, if you don't expect to get any email or phone responses from their partners. Yes, if you expect to pay higher fees than other accounting firms. Yes, if you expect your account relationship to be mishandled and evenually dropped. If these are your expectation of accounting services, then I recommend them. "
