For more than ten years, we have been building online communities of practice focused on professional development, curriculum development, and educational innovation. Our experience spans all levels of education, enabling us to create learning tools and systems that align with teachers' instructional practices and effective learning research.

Originally founded as a team of educators and educational resource developers, Navigation North seeks to reimagine and redesign how teachers are supported in their practice, how students learn in and out of the classroom, and how education systems can best support innovation. While much of our work involves implementing systems, resources, and communities of practice at the statewide and national levels, we remain directly involved in schools and classrooms, continuously assessing and calibrating our thinking and design in collaboration with site leaders, teachers, and learners.
