The next iteration of Microsoft's Surface Laptop Studio is coming out with some notable upgrades, it was confirmed during Microsoft's launch event in New York City.
The tech giant claims that the Surface Laptop Studio 2 has over twice the computing power of its predecessor, making it the "most powerful Surface yet."

While it maintains the overall look of the original, the new laptop will be running on 13th Generation chips with an Nvidia RTX 4050 or RTX 4060 GPU inside, as well as an Intel Neural Processing Unit (NPU) — a first for any Windows device.
It also includes a 14.4-inch touchscreen (the same size as its predecessor) that Microsoft claims is its "most inclusive touchpad on any laptop." With this, users can seamlessly transition from laptop, to display, to a creative canvas perfect for illustrating.
Additionally, the Studio 2 contains two USB-C ports, one USB-A port, and a microSD card reader.
