e.l.f. Cosmetics has gathered a star-studded cast in a teaser for its high-profile Super Bowl ad return.
In a nearly two-minute spot, e.l.f. Intern Kooper picks up his phone from his office desk to make a few "summons."
The first to be called is American singer-songwriter Meghan Trainor. During the phone call, Kooper, who introduces himself as the CMO of e.l.f. digital, lets Trainor know that she has "been summoned" by the company.
When the pop star asks Kooper why she's being summoned, the intern simply responds with "don't call this number back," before putting the phone down.
Next on Kooper's list is American sports analyst Emmanuel Acho, who is dressed as a cop in the commercial. "Let's do this thing," Acho says as he receives his invite from an unknown person.
Meanwhile, "Jury Duty" actor Ronald Gladden has his invite slid into his bathroom cubicle, and "RuPaul's Drag Race" queen and personality Heidi N Closet receives the message via a knock on her limousine.
The "Suits" stars Gina Torres, Rick Hoffman and Sarah Raffert also make an appearance as they receive their invites from the brand one by one.
Torres closes the spot by revealing what was written on her invite: "YOU'VE BEEN E.L.F.ING SERVED."
While the role of each actor in the beauty brand's full-length Big Game spot remains unknown, viewers can get a clue out of its Super Bowl debut ad.
Last year, e.l.f enlisted the help of "White Lotus" star Jennifer Coolidge to bring a smile on viewers' faces through its 30-second spot.
In "eyes.lips.face.sticky.," Coolidge tries on the cosmetic giant's different products, comically emphasizing the superior stick of its Power Grip Primer.
